So I saw Skrillex last night…
I gotta say, it was one of the best shows I’ve been to, and I’ve seen a lot of big artists! Was pretty sick because Zane Lowe opened for him, and I never realised how skilful Zane is at DJ’ing! Just seeing him do his stuff live was mad impressive, inspired me even more to keep DJ’ing, hopefully one day I’ll have a fraction of the skill he does! But when Skrillex came on stage, it was immense! He had his motion capture suit on and the venue had gone all out with the effects, the stage had a nuts light show and there were jets of fire sprouting from the stage, smoke waves and confetti showers! Was quiet an amazing spectacle. Only thing was that half of the audience looked half my age (kind of awkward when some 11-teen year old asked my mate if he wanted pills and another started grinding on me :/ ), but glad to see people so young enjoying decent music! So glad I got a chance to see him.
